With this solution SJ contributes to the protection of the Canandé Reserve, in Ecuador, and to the planting of young mangrove trees in the plantation site of Marovolavo, in Madagascar.

Canandé:

Green Future Project, together with Fundación Jocotoco, aims to expand the protected areas and connect them to the Cotacachi-Cayapas National Reserve. Many of the newly acquired properties, some of which had been subject to deforestation, are now undergoing natural restoration.

Green Future Project is an Italian innovative platform born in November 2020, that bridges individuals and businesses to the most effective climate solutions. Its subscription model offers certified and nature-based projects to support restoration, preservation, renewable energy, and marine restoration** projects partnering with different NGOs and organisations. Green Future Project's goal is to turn companies, brands and individuals into active players in this global challenge by providing simple and effective ways to support climate projects that can be scalable to drive change. In April 2022 GFP officially became a B Corp, joining the community of the 170 Italian B Corporations.
